MRS CRAWDAD COMES HOME

Mrs. Crawdad Comes Home is an adventure story where the main character goes and finds all kinds of animals with fantastic abilities. Mrs. Crawdad would be envious of their tallents, but eventually sees the amazing things she can do. The visuals for this book are heavily pattern and shape driven and inspired by Northwest Native American blanket colors.

KLAMPIE

Klampie tells the story of a young girl, Samantha, and her first big trip to Australia. Samantha is given a teddy bear before her journey which along the way gets mixed up with a real koala. The visuals were inspired by vintage storybooks and old printing materials.

SLEEP ANGEL SLEEP

Sleep Angel Sleep is a bedtime storybook that follows the dreams of a little boy and his animal teddy bears. Accompanying the illustrations are short rhyming verses meant to lull any listener to sleep. The drawings were meant to be soft but also vivid in color, representative of a child's dreams.

CHARLIE GOES TO SPACE

Charlie goes to Space follows the story of a little boy's dreams to become an astronaut by any means necessary. Charlie frequently daydreams and constantly jumps on his bed. He uses both skills to reac his goal to be among the stars.

CANNONBALL LADY

The Cannonball Lady is a wordless story made as an entry for the Italian Children's competition, Teatrio. It follows a female pilot who is the underdog in a air race. The visuals are meant to capture the feeling of space and of flight.
